Ranee Chung grew up
in Hong Kong, the "Big Apple" of Asia before coming to New York
to pursue her dreams. With a unique ability to blend her cultural heritage
from the East with Western training and technical knowledge, her artistic
instincts have been exemplified in remarkably sensitive designs and animations
for both creative and corporate communications projects.
She is among the first
generation of fully computer enabled graphic designers, and her artistic
commitment has stretched and extended this emerging medium. Her abilities
have transformed electronic media projects, introducing a balance of vision
and technology.
Her talent is displayed
in award-winning work for numerous clients including Cantor Fitzgerald/Espeed,
ZStrata, Brooklyn Union, Colgate, IBM, KPMG-Strategic Services, Merrill
Lynch, Orinoco Cigar, Philip Morris, Prudential and Simon & Schuster's
"Road Construction" CD-ROM for children.
Ranee earned her B.F.A.
in Computer Graphic Design from Pratt Institute where she concentrated
on design, animation and interactive media. She began her graphic design
career in advertising where she was awarded the AGA Merit Award from the
Association of Graphic Arts.
Multi-lingual, cross-cultural
ideas and experiences are what drive Ranee's passion and pursuits, with
off-time excursions into music, volleyball and martial arts.
